Mind adrift,

Thinking,

Wondering,

As I think of you...

I think about the beauty in your smile,

That seems to be etched across your face...

The beauty of your laughter,

That always brings an inner peace to my soul,

While putting joyful feelings into my heart...

I think about...

The softness of you...

The softness of your caring touch,

The softness of your hi, good bye kisses,

Your voice soft whispers of "I love you"...

I think about...

Not just the softness of your flesh

But the softness of your mind that is a derivative from the softness pumping from your heart,

That has escaped from the core of your soul...

I think about...

How addicting your softness has become to me,

How it's more addicting then chocolate candy,

But three times sweeter...

My minds adrift,

Thinking,

Wondering,

As I think of you...

Thinking how you bury your nose in my shoulder,

When I hold you oh so very tight...

How my heart still race when you are close to me,

Even after all these years of togetherness...

As I think of you...

I think about all the wonders you have brought to my life,

And how the word lonely as never entered my heart,

Since the day I fell so deeply in love with the softness of "All Of You",

Next to the being of me....

Killing Me Softly ... Prose Poem

Big brown eyes look profoundly into mines,

Seemly talking to me...

Fingertips strum slowly and gingerly through my hair,

They trace my ear lobe,

My jaw line,

They ease across the soft definition of my cheekbones,

Then cupped my face with a firm,

But soft warm embrace...

His head tilts to the right as it moved forward,

Eyes close,

His lips parts,

Just before they consumed mines completely...

As our lips softly embrace,

The softness of his breath flows across my face,

The taste of his lips enter my mouth,

And lingers on my tongue....

Knees buckled

Arms weaken

Mind starts to spin,

As I feel the taste of him,

Flow through my veins,

Enter the doorway to my heart,

Then close the door quickly behind it...

While lips embrace deeper,

He kills me softly,

With just the taste of his genteel kisses....

Fools Game ......... Prose Poem ....... (Past Memory)

Holding time is like trying to hold water

It slips over or around your fingers grasp, then Leave you with just a trickling memory

The same feeling you have after someone tries to fool your love, to trick you into thinking they love only you, but in reality, you are just a stage in their life to propel them to a higher calling

You look into their eyes and their eyes say, you are the best, the person I’ve been looking for all my life, there's no other like you

Their voice speaks of love and endearment, and how being apart from you would break their heart

Their velvet touch tells you no man has been touch with this much kindness before,

But their heart cannot lie, so the try and fool you with the deception of the rest to cover it up, after all, all men are fools, and as long as you give them a little, that gives them the right to take all they can get from you

But want they don't realize, they are just like time, time that can't be held, time that slips away, and in time, they will be forgotten

Distant look, sat on my face as we approached each other,

A hand rises up and stopped my body steps in mid stride...

Her body steps into mines,

Arms slowly wrapped around me tightly...

The warmth of her nose,

Nuzzles into the side of my neck...

The warmth of her breathe,

Gently flows past my ear...

As my arms returns her tight embrace,

Fingertips walk lightly on the nape of my neck...

As she takes a step backwards, her eyes looked deep into mines,

A smile crosses her face and she steps away...

My eyes followed her every step,

As she quietly walks away,

But my soul felt her love stay....

One Love

True love is...

The right time,

The right place,

For two people

To share...

A glance...

A thought...

A touch...

The softness of a good night kiss...

That's preceded by,

Giving...

A piece of your heart...

Å piece of your mind...

A peace of your soul...

That brings two together

To share all their eternal love,

Every awakening day…
