Smells of early spring,
Hit me like the smell of a man wearing too much musk cologne,
My vision blurred,
From my eyes tearing,
My mouth was openly inhaling,
Because my nose refused to breath,
While a headache throbbed deep inside my head
A glass of water,
A red sinus pill,
Twenty minutes later,
I took a deep breath of spring,
And welcomed the allergies it was about to bring,
Because I didn't care,
As long as there was no visible air coming from my mouth,
as I exhale my breath,
Nor sidewalks blanketed with heavy wet white snow,
For my shovel and aching back to throw
