It Takes A Fool ... Song Poem ... Thought Series ...

This thought was triggered by reading iamagirl blog....

Normally a song poem is written with just a line or word from the song. But I decided to write with all the lyrics and add my own words to it because unfortunate for me, the words hit home, and this was really one of my I hate love songs... I tried to follow the rhythm of the song as close as I could... 

 (My words are in Bright Green)

There was a time, after she had done me wrong, 

I would listen over and over to this song,

Contemplating in the shadows all alone,

While sitting and listening closely to this song words

Because I was a fool for falling for someone I had a lot of doubts about,

But being lonely, you lower your guard and let people in your comfort zone,

I let myself have feelings for someone who didn't have my interest at best,

Even thou I knew she didn't really past the trust worthy test,

But you think if you have know this person most of your life, then taking a chance should be a save bet,

Never thinking you would find out that this song was written by someone, who knew her better then me, when he sings...

Am I Dreaming (1) Song Poem ..... Prose Style ....

A Song Poem is a poem that is written from a song, 

using a phrase or sentence from that song. 

It must also be written in the melody, rhytmn or spririt of that song: 

As my eyes glare deep into the hue of light brown eyes of yours,
My heart cries,\
It cries slow soft beats of love for not only you to feel,

But for the world, the vastness of the universe too feel

When you hand touches mine,

Your docile touch puts my mind in a dream,

A dream of me imaging your love will always be only mine for the eternity of time,

Because otherwise, how could I be so lucky to have someone like you in my life, other then in a dream

Never diminish what was hidden deep inside me,

hidden, was a love only you could bring out in the open,

A love, that needed to be shared, with someone like you,

A love, that has endured the toughness of times, and still shines,

A love, that has stood tall, even we could not longer stand,

A love, so bright, it will shine longer then the stars up above in Heavens sky,

A love, so strong, it emerged from the surreally of my dreams, into our reality

Am I'm dreaming?

Because I have been in love with you in my dreams, long before I ever met you,

And once we were united as one, I have loved you for such a very long time...

So long, my soul would be lost without it,

So long, my mind would wake up in a fog without its guidance, 

So long, my being would stop_ Being,

So long, my heart would stop beating from love withdrawn

Am I'm dreaming?

If not, how has this love lasted so long if not for me being in a dream?

And if my mind is truly in a dream, 

Please, do not shake me, do not pinch me, and mistakenly wake me up....
