Army Wife's Last Letter ... Memorial Day Tribute.........

Army Wife's Last Letter by Heather Dube

Hey darling
Do you know how beautiful the sun is when it rises in the morning
kissing my cheeks with its warm glow.
Do you know how cold the dew on the grass is in the morning
chilling my toes as they vanish with the sun's glow
Do you know how sweet the sound of the chirping birds is in the morning
singing a beautiful melody bringing the world
to an early wake
Darling do you know?
Do you know I wake up every morning
to stand next to the letterbox
waiting for the postman in blue uniform,
riding a red bicycle
to bring my scented love letter from you.
Only to discover the beauty of the morn
bearing bad news
...I am to mourn...
Darling, you have died at war
but still I stand by the letterbox waiting.

Enough...(simple) Mothers Day Poem .... Prose

Where she saw not enough,
He saw plenty

Where she saw too much,
He saw just right

Where she saw too thin
He saw thickness

Where she saw a bulge,
He saw perfection

Where she saw average,
He saw beauty,

Where she would question her mindset,
He saw intelligence

When she thought, why does he still love me today,
With all my flaws,
He said, no matter what transpired to you, I will always love you.

Everyday when she looks into his eyes,
She sees a mother, a wife, a woman passionately loved.

Happy Mother's day.

Lovely Day..... Saturday Song ......

Sometimes the words you look for to say what's in your heart, are already written in a song:
Lovely Day, By Bill Withers...

When I wake up in the mornin', love
And the sunlight hurts my eyes
And somethin' without warnin', love
Bears heavy on my mind

Then I look at you
And the world's alright with me
Just one look at you
And I know it's gonna be

A lovely day
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

A lovely day
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

When the day that lies ahead of me
Seems impossible to face
When someone else instead of me
Always seems to know the way

Then I look at you
And the world's alright with me
Just one look at you
And I know it's gonna be

A lovely day
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

A lovely day
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

When the day that lies ahead of me
Seems impossible to face
And when someone else instead of me
Always seems to know the way

Then I look at you
And the world's alright with me
Just one look at you
And I know it's gonna be

A lovely day
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

A lovely day
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

A lovely day
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

A lovely day
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

A lovely day
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)

A lovely day
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
(Lovely day, lovely day, lovely day, lovely day)
