You won't need a big clock to count down to twelve

You won't need bright Fireworks lighting up the dark sky

You won't need a room full of people partying and blowing loud horns

All you will need is a dark room

A roaring fireplace

And that someone you love with all your heart

To bring in the cheer of the New Year

His spirit ....

For weeks,  presence of his spirit has been felt getting stronger than ever

Strangers smiling at strangers, and softly whispering a hello as they pass by

Others lift a hand than say Merry Christmas, with the spirit of his glow swirling around them...

First sight of his spirit was the uplifting of Xmas lights

Second was the ringing of the bells

Next was the brightness of the stars and the moon that was glowing all so bright, you wonder if it had merged as one with the sun

Friends handshakes are firmer, kisses from love ones are sweeter

Hugs from all are held longer and tighter

All because his spirit has risen to the forefront of all things in this world

His soulful spirit has slowly started to consume our beings, intertwine with our soul, wrap around our hearts like a blanket wrapped around a newborn baby in its crib

Leaving us with sensations of security, warmth, joy and jubilant 

Leaving our minds anticipating, the day all will gather and rejoice

His humble  beginning.....
