Mankind ... Musing



I'm not the kind of man who constantly remind you, with the words, "I love you"

I'm not the kind of man to whisper in your ear every night before I fall to sleep, "I love you"

I'm not that  kind of man to stand on a mountain top and yell for all to see and hear, "I love you"

I' am that type of man to say at any given moment, "I love you"

I am that kind of man who will show you everyday in the little things he does, that "I love you"

I am that type of man who once he falls in love with you, stays "in love with you" 

Now that's the kind of man, that I am...

    A friend used to say to me at work that she always kissed her husband good night and said "I love you" regardless if they fought and were not speaking because "you never know if one of us is not going to wake up". I couldn't understand that, but one day I received a phone call from the hospital. Her husband passed away in his sleep at the age of 42.
    I agree with the poem, though.

      I also agree with your friend. That's what my spouse like to do, and like to hear. But that's not me, I believe in showing my love, and being shown she love me. I have been told by someone before how much they loved me everyday. Every phone call. Always told me she couldn't stand being without me. Then she ripped out my heart the first time our relation was tested... Show me ... Thanks for the comment, it was appreciated... :)

    1ManView- I loved this and can definitely relate, because I am the same way. I’m not one to scream “I love you to world” but the person whom I’m loving should know it and I will show them the very best way I could. I rather show them. It’s not to say that saying I love you is wrong, but action should match the words.
