Tick-Tock, tick-Tock Tick-Tock, tick-Tock

Is all that is heard,

As total darkness, consumes the surroundings of our beings

Bodies lie together

In the dark quiet of the room

Breaths that are shallow,

Follow rhythmic heartbeats, that simultaneously beat,

As head to chest, chest to head, rest as one

Eyes close,

Arms embrace,

Hands strum a caress,

As seconds turn to a minute,

minutes turn to an hour; hours turn into a day,

days turn into an eternity of our lifetime

Love is simple,

Love is pure,

Love is forever,

And forever, our love will endure
